In honor of her latest book, Wallbanger, my friend Alice Clayton has been hosting a really fun holiday event, Twelve Days of Wallbanger. It’s basically been eleven days of her throwing fun giveaways all over the internet featuring all her favorite Wallbanger-esque Christmas must-haves. And, since Wallbanger prides itself on good sex, good booze and good food…well, let’s just say it’s been a good week.
Which brings us to today.
When Alice asked me if I wanted to host the final day of Wallbanger giveaways, I was like, um I just gave away a moose head, I’m not really sure how we can compete with that?
Challenge accepted.

This is a shiny brand new, fully loaded, sex red Kitchenaid Mixer. And if you’ve read Wallbanger, you obviously know, if you bake it (zucchini bread), he will come (repeatedly).
On the 12th Day of Wallbanger my Alice gave to me… the best way to make Simon appear for real!
Here we are chickens, the last day of #12daysofWallbanger. It’s been so much fun sharing all these great giveaways with you, and there was no way we were gonna end this without giving away the big mother prize of ’em all. That’s right, it’s a KitchenAid Mixer. Wallbanger leading lady, Caroline, is in love with her mixer, and it made Simon fall in love with her. I’m in love with all of you, so what better way to share the love than to give you your very own Mixer of Love.
I can’t say enough good things about my KitchenAid Mixer, it got me through my 72 hour baking marathon last weekend and it will get me through every PMS moment to come in the forseeable future. And since my girl Brittany here is part of my forseeable future, there was no one else on the planet I could think of to anchor this amazing giveaway. Unless Robert Pattinson was available. Then Brittany knows I would drop her like a hot potato, but with her blessing.
So much exciting news to share with you in the new year, stay tuned because this ride is about to go bonkers.
Happy Holidays to you and yours
Alice
xoxo
Ok, this puppy is going into the mail first thing in the morning, and here’s how you make sure it gets delivered to your doorstep: Tell me what you plan to do with your KitchenAid Mixer. Want more chances to win? Comment with even more suggestions, and if you tweet or Facebook this contest, hell leave that in a separate comment, as well! The more comments, the more chances to win, that’s just basic math.
This contest runs until tonight, Saturday, December 22nd 2012, at 11:59pm EST. You may enter as many times as you wish, just make sure to include your valid email address with each entry. One (1) winner will be randomly selected, and the prize awarded upon confirmation of winning within 24 hours.

Ohh so shiny and lovely!!! I’d make bread and cake and cookies and frostings and supposedly quickly shred chicken? and make so many delicious things!!!
I would make hard-to-stir-by-hand lactation cookies!
OK I give! What in the hell are lactation cookies????
Cookies that help with milk production! They are yummy and helpful…but really hard to stir. Ha!
Do they have fennel in them?
They are oatmeal cookies and have flax seed and brewer’s yeast in them.
I would bake cookies – lots and lots of cookies.
I would bake pies – lots and lots of cookies.
I would bake bread – and lots and lots of cookies.
I would bake cream puffs – and lots and lots of cookies.
I would make lots of good treats and send them to Brittany and Alice (hint hint) – and lots and lots of cookies.
…and I just posted it to my Facebook page. Yay!
I would make cake, cookies, pasta, sausage, and bread! We make a lot of banana bread but maybe I will switch to zucchini bread. Nothing like having a weapon to make a wallbanger come!!
Holy cow- what wouldn’t I do?!?! I bake things literally every. Single. Day. The first thing I’d make though is home made tres leche cake. Freaking YUM!
I’d bake. duh, I know, right? Since my last babe was born baking has been therapeutic.
Second thing I’d make: My husband’s favorite snicker doodle cookies… http://www.lovintheoven.com/2010/03/even-better-snickerdoodle.html
(Seriously- try them!)
And I shared on facebook!
I’d also (FINALLY!) be able to make home made marshmellows! Have you ever tried making them bitches with a hand beater?! Ugh.
Home made whipped cream, too!
I just thought about how much help this would be for bread dough too! The possibilities… so maaaany!
Ummm…make lots of cookies of course!
Oh Man, that mixer is the only item on my Christmas list this year. The first thing I would make is a chocolate cake with salted caramel icing for my boys. Yummy!!!
Hmmm….I do have lots of requests for my Irish Car Bomb Cupcakes but they are a pain in the ass to make. This would make it a LOT easier!
CHeeeeeeseeeecake!
Sorry, had a moment there..
Also- a HUGE thanks to you and Alice just for the opportunity.
Biggest reason for wanting this mixer – it’s RED!
Ooh, and some oatmeal raisin cookie’s too. Can’t forget about the cookies.
Last Christmas, I swore I wouldn’t do my Christmas baking again without a stand mixer … And here I am, doing them again without a stand mixer.
I would use this mixer to make TONS of cookies. And zucchini bread. For my husband.
Maybe this would inspire me to start baking. or cooking. or learning how to turn on my oven for anything other than Pizza Rolls.
This would be super helpful for making my yummy Egg Nog!
I would make lots of yummy treats for the awesome girls that I take care of at work!
Zucchini bread first-duh! Then sorry Alice but banana bread too-my boys love My chocolate chip banana bread
I would make pasta!
Inspiration two words:
Naked Baking.
That is all.
I would use it to hold my wine… and also replicate every recipe the Barefoot Contessa has ever made.
Monster cookies are my guy’s favorite, but I’d make chocolate with chocolate chip first– that’s mine. :)
Ummm..I would set it next to my orange one and then I would only need a yellow, green, blue and purple one to have a complete rainbow..YAY!! Taste the rainbow BABY!! Ooooohhh..yea..Skittles….and vodka…YUM!! Ok..now I am just going off on a whole other tangent! Merry Christmas :)
Bake like a bitch, of course! (I HAVE always wanted to master bread.)
Oh I’d make pumpkin bread…
…and cheesecake…
…and red velvet brownies…
…and delicious peanut butter treats…
…and a million cookies!
And my boys miss my pizza dough-my kitchen aid broke about a year ago :(
If I had this thing, I think I would actually start learning how to bake……I’m 37 and hardly bake anything since I don’t do carbs. My poor husband and 4 children wouln’ know how to eat homemade cookies LOL.
Oh! And I’d make cupcakes…
..and definitely whipped cream…
…and keylime pie…
…and carrot cake! And then, once I’m 500 pounds I’ll be stuck in my cute little 400 square foot house forever. But whatev, I’ll be happy. :)
I would make cookie dough. Not actual cookies. And keep it all to myself!
I’ve never had a mixer before so I don’t know what I world make… But I would find something.
I LOVE Alice Clayton and I really LOVE KitchenAid Mixers! Gimme!
So many things!!! Cookies, and cakes, and doughs, oh my!!
Pretty! I’d use it to make whipped cream for…well, I think we ALL know the rest! ;D
Omg I would make everything! Specifically, I would love to finally have a way to make a decent meringue.
