In honor of her latest book, Wallbanger, my friend Alice Clayton has been hosting a really fun holiday event, Twelve Days of Wallbanger. It’s basically been eleven days of her throwing fun giveaways all over the internet featuring all her favorite Wallbanger-esque Christmas must-haves. And, since Wallbanger prides itself on good sex, good booze and good food…well, let’s just say it’s been a good week.
Which brings us to today.
When Alice asked me if I wanted to host the final day of Wallbanger giveaways, I was like, um I just gave away a moose head, I’m not really sure how we can compete with that?
Challenge accepted.

This is a shiny brand new, fully loaded, sex red Kitchenaid Mixer. And if you’ve read Wallbanger, you obviously know, if you bake it (zucchini bread), he will come (repeatedly).
On the 12th Day of Wallbanger my Alice gave to me… the best way to make Simon appear for real!
Here we are chickens, the last day of #12daysofWallbanger. It’s been so much fun sharing all these great giveaways with you, and there was no way we were gonna end this without giving away the big mother prize of ’em all. That’s right, it’s a KitchenAid Mixer. Wallbanger leading lady, Caroline, is in love with her mixer, and it made Simon fall in love with her. I’m in love with all of you, so what better way to share the love than to give you your very own Mixer of Love.
I can’t say enough good things about my KitchenAid Mixer, it got me through my 72 hour baking marathon last weekend and it will get me through every PMS moment to come in the forseeable future. And since my girl Brittany here is part of my forseeable future, there was no one else on the planet I could think of to anchor this amazing giveaway. Unless Robert Pattinson was available. Then Brittany knows I would drop her like a hot potato, but with her blessing.
So much exciting news to share with you in the new year, stay tuned because this ride is about to go bonkers.
Happy Holidays to you and yours
Alice
xoxo
Ok, this puppy is going into the mail first thing in the morning, and here’s how you make sure it gets delivered to your doorstep: Tell me what you plan to do with your KitchenAid Mixer. Want more chances to win? Comment with even more suggestions, and if you tweet or Facebook this contest, hell leave that in a separate comment, as well! The more comments, the more chances to win, that’s just basic math.
This contest runs until tonight, Saturday, December 22nd 2012, at 11:59pm EST. You may enter as many times as you wish, just make sure to include your valid email address with each entry. One (1) winner will be randomly selected, and the prize awarded upon confirmation of winning within 24 hours.
Still looking for that last minute Christmas present? Considering giving the gift of hysterical orgasm. You can easily gift Wallbanger or Alice’s other addictive novels The Unidentified Redhead and The Redhead Revealed to your friends just by having their email!
Politically correct and anatomically correct gingerbread people. Let that freaky flag fly!
I would totally regift it! To my mom…because she rocks and deserves to make great cookies and other baked goods….because she needs the help :) Hockey pucks…cough cough…seriously..
So many items to make with the mixer! Let’s start with pumpkin bread, banana bread, red velvet cake / cupcakes and cookies! Yum.
Cupcakes! Cupcakes! Cupcakes!
I know what I wouldn’t make – My Dad was a kleptomaniac and would steal soap from the hotels (amongst other things). Hotel soap being small he used the meat grinder attachment on moms Kitchen Aid to grind up all the bars. Any spare plastic container he could scrounge was filled with Hotel Soap Scramble and left to harden. The soap was horrible. The grinder was the cleanest one on earth.
I would make Christmas cookies from scratch.
Brownies for my boys.
Red velvet cake
With cream cheese frosting!
I will lick all of the nooks, crannies and crevices clean of any stray chocolate batter!
Would give it to my friend Lizzi, as she deserves it more than anyone I know. She bought one a few years ago at a NYC apartment sale and after getting it home and hauling it up the 5 flights of her walk up building, she excitedly plugged it in to use it only to have roaches start crawling out of the motor. Needless to say, it went back to its original owner.
If I had this beautiful mixer, I would start with something soft and sweet – red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese filling. My boyfriend would become accustomed to the telltale whir of the batter mixing, getting more creamy and delicious by the second. Just as I finish beating the cream cheese frosting to a perfect, whipped consistency, ready to swirl it artfully onto the still-warm, red delicious cupcake tops, he would peer around the door begging for a taste…
Until obviously, I shoo him away so I can post these babies on Instagram.
I have been hunting for one of these for so long! I absolutely love baking and having my very own beautiful KitchenAid mixer would help a ton…
To start with I’d make some spent grain beer bread! My boyfriend is a homebrewer, how awesome is that? Baking and booze… nothing better!
How about whipping up a batch of incredible dark chocolate perfection brownies?
Or knock off frosted sugar cookies like the ones you buy at the grocery store?
Or a batch of homemade bagels??? I think if I actually won this I would gain 80 pounds and lose all contact with the outside world because I would be baking night and day.
I can deal with that.
GOT IT. Homemade nutella.
Sugar cookies for Santa, aka moi.
I would make cookies, lots and lots of cookies mix!
Then maybe some royal icing to decorate with.
