Oh POPSUGAR, mama likey.
I forgot to review last month’s box, but it was a mixed bag. Skin care stuff (always fun), Revenge Wears Prada (yay books!), Madonna work out DVD (meh), navy and coral striped scarf (I was blah about this until I realized I could use it as a swim sarong, and now I’m obsessed).
Now in busts July, and I gotta say, I kinda dig it!
In this box:
Baublebar Rose Double Curb Chain Necklace. I actually really love this. When I saw the jewelry bag, I got excited, and while I’m typically a long necklace girl, this was really cute on.
Supergoop! SPF 30 Anti-Aging Sunscreen Serum. Yeah, I have wrinkle phobia. Keep this shit coming.
Mighty Leaf Iced Tea, Peach Ginger Flavor. I hate tea. I tried. Can’t do it. This goes to my mama.
Tovolo King Cube Ice Tray. Okay, so this tray makes those big ass Mad Men scotch in a glass ice cubes. And since I drink a lot, I’ll probably use it, but seriously, who likes to get ice cube trays in the mail?
NCLA As If! Polish. I’m really into white and super light opaque nail polishes right now, so I’m definitely going to use this.
Hannahmax Dark Chocolate Chocolate Chip Crunchy Cookie Chips. They are chips made of cookies. They are obviously already gone.
While I love a good theme, I’m over the fitness boxes, and I really love the skin care, jewelry and snacks. They are items I might not ordinarily buy for myself. It’s like having a fun personal shopper. You are a win for me, July.

Mine should be here by the end of the week, I’m a little “meh” about this box… I was in love with last month’s box though. I feel like my eighteen year old daughter will be getting most everything in the box this month, but I’m totally going to use the wrinkle serum, between the stuff I got last month and this month’s serum, maybe I’ll even LOOK like my eighteen year old, maybe, possibly?

My friend had some serious opinions about how the necklace looked on herself. They included references to Jersey Shore and Flavor Flav.

LMAO @ Rachel’s comment. I thought the same thing, but you know- it looks really cute on! Not as thrilled with this month’s box. Cookies/Crackers had a weird aftertaste. Nail polish was not one of my fav colors. Not sure I want to put something on my face called “GOOP”. Think the Ice Tea I’ll try today. Thanks Brittany for telling me about PopSugar Must Haves! Got my box yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised by the necklace. I am usually a silver/platinum kind of jewelry girl, but this necklace is really cute on (but man is it heavy). I will wear it for sure. The ice cube tray went to my husband (it’s nice when I can share something with him from the box). I thought the cookie chips were delicious and I can’t wait to try the tea and nail polish.
You are right, the necklace ON is really cute. I was skeptical. But ON? I really love it.
Also, I am sooooo on a gold kick right now like WHOA.
Oh and I used the nail polish last night, and I love it because it’s opaque and not see through so it goes on thick. LOVE. I wish it was white. Then it would be perfection.
Loved the necklace, loved the sunscreen, the cookies are awesome. Not a tea drinker, but my daughter likes it. My nail polish was lavender. Not sure about that one. Overall, it was a great box.
I missed your June review so I’m glad this is back! PLEASE post a pic of how you styled the scarf, I love it but am stuck in a white shirt and jeans rut with it.
Haven’t tried on the necklace yet so I’ll reserve judgement, but the cookies were awesome and I didn’t share. Not sure about the tea but I loved the giant ice cubes for my poolside cocktail!!
I was a little leary about the necklace, but seriously so cute on and, yes, heavy. My husband ate the rest of the cookies (really! this was for me!) I am not sure about the tea, but I may try it cold with the big ice cubes from the tray. Also, the ice cube tray–so adding mint leaves and then freezing! Overall, this month a hit with me!
The necklace weights a metric fuckton, but it is cute. I’m wearing it today. Wish it hadn’t crushed my cookies, which are yummy even if they are in pieces. Love the ice cube tray, but really you couldn’t spring for a whole dozen cubes?
So, sort-of-funny story. Mu husband doesn’t really know about my Popsugar membership and I’m fine with that. It’s a little special something for me. So anyway, last night the ice cube tray was in the sink to be washed and he starts in “Why do you have another ice cube tray? We have four? Why did you need it? Did you want another one? Don’t we have enough? Why? Why? Why…complain, complain, complain” The ice cube interrogation continued for awhile until I got annoyed and went to bed with a “I didn’t realize you felt so damn strongly about ice cube trays” comment. He followed me downstairs and after realizing how annoyed I was comes out with this “If I knew you had wanted that, I would have gotten you ice cube trays for your birthday (July4)”. Dude, buy me ice cube trays for my birthday, and be prepared to get divorce papers for yours.

I loved the cookies and of course they are gone now :( I’m loving the chain and looking forward to finding something to wear it with. I would love to see photos of how you wear the items in the boxes – that would be AWESOME! (especially that scarf from June) I’m sitting at work trying to figure out what type of liquor I can add to that tea this weekend to really make it rock! I loved the moisutrizer from June’s box. So far I’ve gotten 2 boxes and I’m really loving getting surprised each month with a treat for me! Popsugar is awesome
I really liked last month, despite already owning the Prada sequel. The skin care line is nice. The scarf I love for “shawl” purposes when in sundresses and in the too cool for me but just right for everyone else car, movie theatre, etc. The Madonna workout video–who cares? The popcorn rocked! That’s all I have to say about June.
I totally grooved on the rose gold necklace. Love it!! Iced tea is a staple year-round in the South, so straight to the Pantry it went. Digging the nail polish color–trying it out this week when I get my mani/pedi for my upcoming Martha’s Vineyard trip (cannot freaking wait for this trip). Sunblock that prevents wrinkles or the like? Duh–can’t wait to try it. Haven’t tried the munchie yet, but I will this week. The big asses ice cubes are cool in theory, but like you, I was all “who wants an ice tray as a goodie?!?’
June & July redeemed the previous month for me, which was my first.
Can one of you show me a pic of an outfit that the copper necklace can go with? I have tried it on 3 times with 3 different outfits and it has never looked right. I would totally appreciate anyone’s help. I love it and I want to be able to wear it!
