Please doll up my baby sister … she’s beautiful and curvalicious! AND, she would LOVE to do this!

16-18 pants

Shannon Anderson August 28, 2013 at 9:09 am

MAKE ME OVER. Just got married on 8-17-13 and my wedding dress was a 16. pant size is 14-16

Anna Smith August 28, 2013 at 9:11 am

OMG!!! I would love to do this! Please MAKE ME OVER! I’m more than available. I’m a 18 on the bottom and a 22/24 on top. I just got a sassy new haircut, but don’t have any sassy clothes to go with it. I’m a total teeshirt and jeans girl and have tried to get into girly clothes but feel kind of awkward. I need help… bad. :)

improperly forward (Keli) August 28, 2013 at 9:21 am

Oh holy hell pick me. Size 14-16 with a desperate need for something other than yoga pants and hoodies in my life.

Sara Beaves August 28, 2013 at 9:22 am

Make me over! I’m a stay at home mom of 2, one 4 year old one 5 month old. I’ve lost the baby weight, but need help adjusting to my new shape. None of my jeans or bras fit the same :( I’m a size 14/16.

Becky August 28, 2013 at 9:28 am

Thank You!!!!!

Melody August 28, 2013 at 9:28 am

Will you come to Delaware?

Becky August 28, 2013 at 9:29 am

Patti Taylor August 28, 2013 at 9:56 am

Patti Taylor August 28, 2013 at 9:59 am

I wear pant size 16-18 and usually go for XXL tops.

Amanda August 28, 2013 at 11:13 am

I am a 36 year old wife and mom and about to graduate college soon. I am in desperate need of a makeover. I wear 2 xl tops and 18 bottoms. Thank you!

Melanie August 28, 2013 at 11:32 am

I’m coming to the event, so I’ll see you there, but email me if you want to go eat doughnuts with me. xo

Erin L August 28, 2013 at 12:47 pm

Please MAKE ME OVER! I’m a size 16/xxl and I wear glasses. I’m a mom to 5 year old boy/girl twins and am still wearing t-shirts from before they were born. I’m trying very hard to embrace my femininity and to feel good about my forever changed body.

Velvet August 28, 2013 at 12:53 pm

Please Please Make me over! I’m totally lost when it comes to style, and as a full time working mom (sole support of our family of 4) I don’t know when I’ll have the chance to find a new style!

Size 18-20

Suzanne August 28, 2013 at 2:48 pm

I am smaller than a size 14/16 but still am in need of a makeover. There are plenty of people out there who have no effing clue how to dress. I am one of those people. My outfits consists of shirts, shorts, and ratty gym wear. I am pathetic. I understand your need to concentrate on a certain size, but anyway you can provide “general tips” for the fashion clueless.

Kelly August 28, 2013 at 6:22 pm

I would love a makeover, I have been trying to lose weight (have lost about 18 pounds), I have extra baby weight from 2 twin pregnancies. Also that is right after my birthday, that would be an awesome birthday present!! I’m about a size 20, xxl.

Heather Murphy-Raines August 28, 2013 at 6:57 pm

I’d love a makeover, lady. I had a major health and fitness transformation starting last year when I turned 40. Since then I have dropped 30+ lbs. and gone from an 18 to a 14 . I swim in most of my clothes (except that cute dress I got from you & Land’s End at BlogHer 13 that I deliberately chose too small to be a goal dress) so I’d love to add something glam to the wardrobe that isn’t yoga pants. Plus I wear glasses at night to drive so some glasses to go with would be super awesome. Pick me!!!

Tamara August 28, 2013 at 8:47 pm

Make me over! I’m not suuuuper excited about posting this all publicly, but you asked, so here you go: I’m a size 22 bottoms, a size 18/20 top. Here’s why I think you should pick me: I’ve struggled with my weight and being the frumpy girl who wears whatever raggedy jeans fit and hoodies since I was a kid. As I got older, my fashion became a bit better–and then last year I was rocking and rolling and lost 50 pounds, and finally started dressing better as I could fit into a size 18 pants and 16/18 tops. It was amazing! I tossed out all my old fat clothes, and wearing items that made me look good made me feel so good that I kept rolling on my weight loss journey in a big way. Aaaand then I went through a really painful emotional experience with a friend, and everything crashed. I gained all the weight back, and since I’d tossed all my “fat” clothes, almost nothing in my closet fits. I have a mountain of student loan debt, and credit card debt racked up from three years at non-profits, not making enough to make ends meet…so now that I have a good-paying job, all my extra income goes to paying off debt and I can’t afford to buy new clothes that actually fit and flatter. It’s depressing, and looking/feeling blah is making me continue my spiral.

So, basically, I’d LOVE this opportunity to help me tap back into the woman I know is inside of me. Aside from clothes, I wear glasses/contacts but have had the same frames since 2006, and they were edgy and hot at the time, but now…. So the Rivet & Sway portion is appealing, if it means browsing some new styles. And as for hair…I have always been terrified to do anything crazy with cutting my hair because I think all the styles I like would look horrible on a fat girl, but maybe you can prove me wrong! I dye it bright red and I love that, but the dye will be all faded and my hair will need some definite love a month from now.

sarabeth August 28, 2013 at 10:12 pm

Please make over my best friend Erin! She is so beautiful but could be more beautiful with just a bit of help. She is a curvy girl who LOVES her curves, but she needs some advice on what to wear to play up all her awesome curves. She is a mom of twin 5 year olds and wear tees and jeans, no make up and hair is always in a pony. I love her the way she is, but I know this would make her so happy.

Kel August 29, 2013 at 6:54 am

I love Seattle. I don’t live there. I live in SD. I want a make over. I’m not a size 14-16, but I’m still pretty damn curvy, and I make a mean guacamole. So….

Tamara August 29, 2013 at 10:02 pm

Make me over! I’m a 16-18 and would love to be your model!!!

Tamara August 29, 2013 at 10:14 pm

Accidental submit hit, sorry…
And not just because I want a makeover (I too, have recently lost weight), but more because I think you’re awesome sauce and we share mad cosmic kid naming skillz; I also have children named Gigi and Jude (see, so much to talk about already!). So, lets spend a day together? Yep. Sounds good.

Amy August 30, 2013 at 3:08 pm

PLEASE MAKE ME OVER! I would absolutely love to be made over by you! As a young woman in the engineering profession I always struggle with fashion choices and adding into the mix that I am a size 18 I usually default to colorless shapeless clothes.

Liz L. August 30, 2013 at 6:04 pm

MAKE ME OVER! I live right outside Seattle in the Puget Sound. I can totally be available!
I am a size 18 pants and 18/20 or XXL at Old Navy…..Where I shop a lot since I don’t HAVE to go to Lane Bryant anymore….but I love their bras. Anyway, I think it would be great because only recently have I started wearing make-up, jewelry, dresses even! I used to weigh over 300 lbs and be a size 26, and while I wish I was smaller even now, I still sometimes have no clue what to do with my body or how to dress it to make me look attractive. I am a teacher with a tough job teaching special education and I think I deserve a make over!!

Amy Shepard August 31, 2013 at 9:44 pm

MAKE ME OVER please! I’d like to pursue my dream as an imaginative play activist and early childhood education leader, but I need help dressing my short, newly larger (ppd med weight) size 14/16 body, professionally and stylishly. For me, putting together separates is as complex as trying to solve a rubix cube and my “chic casual” looks about as bad as the darn thing when you’ve given-up and pulled all the stickers off and tried to stick them back on! Make me over, polish me, teach me how to present the best of me! My e-mail again is,
ps Tamara Littlejohn (has a Gigi and a Jude) and I are best friends. Hmm, wouldn’t it be fun to do a make-over with both of us! ;)

Sara G September 3, 2013 at 5:28 pm

First off, I love your mission!!! I feel like plus size women are relegated to the corner of the fashion world because a lot of companies don’t want us to be their brand image–I think it’s ridiculous and they are missing out. Ok–Please MAKE ME OVER! Mom to a 1 year old and I have been rotating the same 15 items of clothing since april after a house fire ruined my wardrobe that has been years in the making! I wear glasses too! Size 20/22 pants and 1x/2x shirts depending on the brand/style. Thanks so much!

Connie Seattle Mom Blogger September 4, 2013 at 5:17 pm

Make me over! I’m over 50 and want to dress my age but look fabulous. I’ve lived near Seattle (20 minutes southeast) since 1966 and I have a VERY casual and laid back look (when I bother to get out of my PJs).

I’m feeling a little tossed to the curb lately by people who think I became invisible at age 50. I’d love to show them that you don’t curl up and disappear and that being 50 is just a number. But again, I’m PLUS size, tall, and old….you’d really have your work cut out for you!

Welcome to the rainy city – bring a fabulous light jacket and skip the umbrella – locals don’t use ‘em :)

Connie Seattle Mom Blogger September 4, 2013 at 5:19 pm

Oops…I’m a 24. GASP. Just kiddin. It’s just a size and doesn’t bother me. I’ll never again allow what people think of my size generate how I feel about myself as a person. Ever.

Elena September 5, 2013 at 11:56 am

Make me over!!! Depending on the brand – anywhere from a 14-18 on top and 16/18 bottom.

Looking forward to the event at Rivet & Sway!!

Emilyh September 5, 2013 at 5:34 pm

MAKE ME OVER! I’m a 14-16. I just had a baby and the weight I gained isn’t going anywhere. My husband lost his job right after we found out I was pregnant, was unemployed for 6 months, and has been severely underemployed for the last six months. So not only is it hard to dress this new, bigger body of mine, but it’s hard to buy anything, too. Waaa. So, yeah. Pick me, please!

Wendy Otto September 7, 2013 at 8:35 pm

MAKE ME OVER!!!!! I fluctuate 16-20,you know depending on brand. I am married, 32 and two girls, 6 and 4, and I work full time as a paralegal. Needless to say I don’t get a lot of me time to shop for myself and then it always ends up being jeans and a nice shirt, nothing overly professional or stylish. I’d love to spend the day with you!

victoria September 8, 2013 at 5:25 pm

Make me over!!!! Size 18! I’m so excited about you being here!! I’m 29 and just moved to Seattle for grad school and what would a new city and a new season of life be without a makeover?? :)

Maegan September 10, 2013 at 8:58 am

Pick me! Pick me! I have recently lost 40lbs, going from a size 22-24 to a 16. I need some new clothes and ideas for my changing body (I’m still losing). I’m a married mom of two, and when I am not parenting, I am an active volunteer for Girl Scouts or working out (just completed my first triathlon, yo!).
Thanks for the chance. Good luck to everyone!

Jennifer Paculdo September 14, 2013 at 2:46 pm

**Make me over**

Hello, I stumbled on this webpage and would love a make over! My name is Jennifer I am wearing a 16 or 18. I am a SAHM and mom to 5 girls ages 15, 12, 11, 4, and 2 and most recently (2 weeks ago) gave birth to our last baby. A beautiful baby boy!!! So.. I am in transition mode with my body which can make getting dressed in the morning or afternoon depending on the exhaustion level, difficult!!
Please help me!

Aurora September 16, 2013 at 11:22 pm

I just moved to the area… ready for a new life and looking for a new job… size 16-18ish but really every brand feels like a different size.

Jessica September 18, 2013 at 7:12 pm
