Social media is exploding, and celebrities have their share of the action. From Tumblrs to blogs to hilarious Twitter accounts, following (or stalking, whatevs) my favorite celebs just got easier!
Check out my list of must-follow ladies online:

Zooey Deschanel. I adore her as the quirky Jess on New Girl, and I equally adore following her tumblr, Zooey’s Miscellany, online. She posts personal pictures and hilarious web finds, and seriously, how are we not friends in real life yet?

Melissa Beck. You know, that one cute girl from Real World New Orleans, aka, the last tolerable Real World? She’s been tumbling for years, and has been my total guilty pleasure follow. She is now a mom and married to a rock star, but I still love her irreverent humor and random celebrity interactions.

Mayim Bialik. Not only is Mayim crazy active on Twitter, she blogs for the parenting site, Kveller. From humor to attachment parenting to Judaism, I love her honest take on being a mama.

Dianna Argon. This Glee star is a total Tumblr junkie and I love it! She posts hilarious and eclectic finds from around the web, as well as her own life. She’s a must follow.

Soleil Moon Frye. It took about 4 seconds for me to become a big huge fan of Solei’s blog, Moonfrye. It’s an amazing parenting community sprinkled with touches of her personal life, as well as amazing writers, including CGG contributor, Mary Lauren Weimer.

Alicia Silverstone. Ok, so I’m not a vegan, but if I was, I’d like to think I’d look like Alicia Silverstone. However, my carniverous ways don’t keep me from oogling her gorgeous vegan site, The Kind Life, and loving all her lifestyle sections and one on one interactions.

Tori Spelling. Donna Martin has bypassed typical blogging and shot straight to lifestyle magazine with her site, ediTORIal. Tori tackles tons of fun topics, from style to decor to parenting, and even has a newletter with fun finds.
Who did we miss? Who is your favorite celeb blogger or Twitterer?
I almost kinda hate you for listing Melissa Beck because she is my preciouuuussss and no one else can have her! I’ve been following her since RWNO & soon after that on her blog that eventually turned into her tumblr. She’s a favorite.
I will stop the hate, though, because even though I love Amy Farrah Fowler more than life itself, I hadn’t thought about looking Mayim Bialik on Twitter. Remedied! Thanks.
Others I like on Twitter:
Mindy Kaling
Alec Baldwin
Aziz Ansari
Adam Levine
Blake Shelton
Jason Mraz (also has a great journal here)
Michael Ian Black (also has a great blog here)
SHUT UP. Ok I too have been following her since RWNO. Confession: I bought one of her paintings. I LOVED Princess Melissa.
Also, have you read Ian Michael Black’s book, You’re Doing It Wrong? It’s brilliant!
Ha, I remember those paintings!!
I haven’t read any MIB books yet but I plan to. I was a huge fan of The State. I get so excited every time I see a cast member in something today, and that basically happens all the time now. I have to yell their name at whatever screen I’m in front of. JOE LO TRUGLIO! KEN MARINO!
LOVE, love, love Melissa. She’s so sweet too, I remember once I wrote her an email asking her about how she got her hair so straight and she not only emailed me back but she posted my email and her response on Princess Melissa… I felt like such a rock star…
I love Gwyneth Paltrow’s blog GOOP – high end most of the time but I still love living vicariously.
Ok I have yet to check that out, but I hear SO MUCH about it. I am now convinced and heading over now!
LOVE Zooey. Only thing I don’t like about Tumblrs is there is rarely (if at all) an email subscribe (at least not on the few I’m interested in following), which is my fav way to follow a blogger. I have to say Aziz Ansari cracks me up on the Twitter. And Soleil Moon Frye! I have often wondered what she’s up to these days. She and Fred Savage.
Tori Spelling is my guilty pleasure. I love anything and everything she is a part of!!
