Gritty iPhone Scrapbook

So last night was the big Halloween party. A zillion kids in kid crap heaven upstairs, adults downstairs in booze/football/food heaven. It was the perfect marriage of adult-child fun.

Pre-party photo opp

Gigi and I rocked Alice and the Queen of Hearts. She looked ridiculously adorable, asking if anyone had seen her white rabbit. My abstract outfit came courtesy my closet and the craft section of Walmart: black wide-calf Fitzwell Valencia boots, Rock Star Super Skinny Jeans, a black Kimono shirt from Gap that I cinched with some red glitter ribbon, a $3 clearance red heart necklace, and a slightly askew glittery red crown that I made by cutting the crown shape out of glittery red craft foam, and super gluing it to a black headband.

Oh and Katy Perry Oh, Honey false eyelashes, that I successfully put on after 20 minutes, 6 asian teen how-to youtube videos and me standing in front of an open window doing Lamaze breathing and letting the cold air dry my arm pit stains. If you were to ask me, which was harder, applying fake lashes or childbirth without an epidural, I would say tie. No wait, the lashes, because the baby was gonna fall out, regardless, getting these suckers on straight was touch and go.

What happened this week:

Cool shit I saw online:

Probably the greatest youtube video ever.

Amazon does hilarious, again.

I have no idea why I find this so fascinating.

And then also, I am currently addicted to two iPhone games courtesy my damn kids, Hugo Race and Plants v Zombies. I CAN’T STOP.
