Saturday night Sara and her husband, Mike, took me out to pop my Pad Thai cherry. I had been hesitant due to my dislike of peanuts (and peanut butter, sorry America), but it was magical.
I’m now considering auctioning off my Brazilian food virginity on Ebay.
Um, you would already know all of this if you followed me on Instagram, love.
I absolutely love Thai food. I don’t get pad thai very often, I’m more of a red curry girl. I’m so glad you liked it. I seriously could eat Thai every day.
I also hate peanut butter and peanuts. You are not alone.
pad thai is a miracle food dish from the gods!
Oh my gosh Pad Thai is one of the foods I could eat for every meal for the rest of my life. Love! So glad you gave it a try.
Steph
I was hesitant to try Thai food for a long time because of the spiceiness.. but once I found out you get get varrying degrees of it, I was hooked. Love pad thai now.
You should try a Brazilian Steakhouse. Not sure how authentic it is as far as Brazilian cuisine goes, but it is amazing. Guys walk around with big slabs of meat and slice off as much as you want onto your plate.
I’ve been reading your blog for a couple months, but this is my first comment.
Churrascaria! Yes, I think it’s relatively authentic, especially if they give you the fried bananas and polenta as sides. The meat is definitely prepared traditionally, and the lamb is TO DIE FOR. (Obviously, you know!)
HATE peanuts and peanut butter. We have something in common.
