I can’t believe they canceled The Tudors, I loved that show. I’m pissed they killed him off.
They didn’t cancel it, Henry died, like in history. The show was about real life, Andy. Please read books.
He says we don’t need Showtime to watch just one show, so I am stuck watching it when it hits Netflix, which leaves me done with season 6 and still waiting for them to get season 7.
Ugh, sometimes nothing is as funny as this show.

OMG my hubby and I just watched all 6 seasons on Netflix. I think we did it in about two weeks which of course makes us big losers. The only thing that made us even bigger losers is that we had the impression the series was done, then I do a little googling to find out there is a season 8 about to start in July and season 7 is in limbo because I don’t have Showtime. WTF? That crazy Nancy, I need my fix!!!!
Shit gets weird in Season 6 and 7. I am hoping 8 will bring me back. I miss Agrestic. I miss the ticky tacky little boxes. *Sigh* I can’t believe Andy will not pay for Showtime. I control the cable bill so we have everything. I love our On Demand features. If you are a Duchovny fan check out Californication, United States of Tara was great and I hear the Big C is worth a shot.
Ha! Coffee table… That’s one of my all time favorite scenes from Weeds! I don’t have Showtime either, I just obsessively buy DVD sets from Ebay. I am only on season 5 right now. I have another Tudors season to watch still, too. I already knew Henry would die in the end so no worries about spoiling it. ;-)
omg! i’m in the exact same boat as you, lady! i’m stuck watching it on netflix, which is fine, because i can plow through a whole season in a day… but then i’m left waiting and missing it. if i can find it online through other sources i’ll burn you a copy and send it to you!

I was Weeds biggest fan, and then Season 6 started. I haven’t watched it once since. I miss Agrestic, too. I think the show just got too weird too fast. I miss Andy. And Silas. Why can’t they just leave well enough alone.
But Showtime has ‘Shameless,’ which you absolutely should be watching, and ‘Nurse Jackie.’ OMG! And ‘Homeland!’ So it’s not just one show! At the very least, you NEED to watch Shameless. Now.

Season 7 was weird and I thought that was for sure the end of the series. I was surprised when I heard they were making Season 8. Hopefully it gets better. And yes you have to have Showtime… Shameless & Nurse Jackie are awesome!

You just have to get him hooked on all the OTHER awesome shows on Showtime! Dexter, Shameless, Nurse Jackie, Homeland…it’s like Showtime doesn’t KNOW HOW to create a crappy show anymore! And most of those you can get via Netflix starting from Season 1 so you’ll have plenty of time to get him hooked before they start back up…
Please, please tell me you watch Workaholics on Comedy Central. It. Is. Hysterical. My brother told me to watch and I laugh the entire episode, probably because the boys remind me of all the losers I dated in college.
I am in exactly the same predicament. I watched all 6 seasons in about a 2 week period last year. Which prompted me to tell everyone I know that I was going to get a U-Turn tattoo. (And that statement prompted everyone I know to be super concerned for my mental health.)
We freaking love that show! We are anxiously waiting Netflix to get season 7. What the hell is taking them so long?!
The last 2 seasons did get kinda weird, but its still hilarious! My hubby pirated a copy of all the episodes so we watched them all back to back. Love it!!!
Also, I found out that my old boss (as in age, not former) watches Weeds… awkward.
Well….I am in Canada and we only have the first 3 seasons on Netflix….sigh…but I watched all 7 seasons in the span of two weeks. I now can NOT wait until the start of the next season!
I’m pretty sure it’s on Amazon Instant. Plug the computer into the TV and VOILA! No super fancy husband-objectionable cable needed.

Weeds is my all time FAVORITE show. We don’t have showtime either so I feel your sadness. =(
My mom hearts Weeds, which makes me love her moree. Netflix Nurse Jackie season 1-3, similar humour with a good cry to cap off every episode. Showtimee lovee.

You can buy the show on an episodic basis through Amazon.com. We don’t have a TV, so I pay $1.99 each Monday to watch Mad Men through Amazon on my computer, it is a fantastic way to still watch the two (or five) shows I love without springing for a TV.
I found out about Weeds because of Netflix and can’t believe they still haven’t put season 7 on yet! Here’s a secret though… they’re currently playing season 7 on the TV Guide channel and have some of the episodes on demand. Hope it helps you get your fix!
