What I Wore: Leopard Wedges & Lacey Tops

by Brittany on July 25, 2012

in Chubby Girl, Fashion, lowercase b

I’ve gotten a few questions about the outfit I wore in the photo-shoot sneak peak I posted yesterday, so I decided to break it down, because it’s some of my all time current favorite pieces.

Finding lace tops for curvy girls is hard. I mean, they toss lace on the neck of wide cut tank tops at Lane Bryant to add a touch of sexiness to our obvious desire for tent-like modesty, but other than that, I’ve found zilch in terms of pretty lace, and I have a sudden need to hoard it to pair with random pops of pattern.

Finally mission accomplished.

Lace Top, CATO
Fitted Nude Cami, Target
Rockstar Super Skinny Jeans, Old Navy (Don’t let the name fool you, these are jeggins)
Leopard Wedges, Target

Now if only they start selling online or make it to the upper midwest! Closest store is 4 hours away.

Thanks so much! I have been obsessing over how to find a lacy top that will compliment the ladies :) Per chance, do you know what the name of the blouse? The link only brings me to the store site.

Thank you again!! You inspire me. Up next, mermaid hair!

And the Rock Star Skinny jeans are my 15 y/o daughter’s favorite! Luckily, she can’t wear my shoes…but I can swipe her jeans!

You know, I’ve seen “jeggins” here in Egypt, too. But I’m afraid to wear them. I have this fear of walking past a full length mirror and see my outlined c-section flap thing and puke myself to death.

YOU look amazing in this.

Hi Brittany! I stumbled upon your blog by searching for pictures of Old Navy Rockstar super skinny jeans washes… I love this one! Do you by chance know the name of the wash?

It’s been over a year, but I think it’s closest to Milkway.
