in lowercase b, Pop Candy

I just spent 31 minutes listening to one of the most moving, captivating, and courageous women I have ever come across. Her words made me laugh, weep and long to know her and be her best friend.

And thirty one minutes later, I cheered in my living room for a woman I had never met, who had just done one of the bravest things I’d ever seen.

I have long read you, enjoyed you, and laughed my ass off at your writing. However, I have never commented. But this…this deserves a comment. This woman and her family are just awe inspiring. And I am so hopeful that with people out there like this – articulate, intelligent, brave, kind and lovely – we will see an end to the hate and bigotry heaped on this community. Thank you for sharing. This gives me hope.

Amazing.

By the way this easily could be exactly what I wrote after watching your TED talk. :)

She is just utterly spell binding. It is no surprise she has become so successful telling stories as she was clearly put on this earth to do so. I was in awe of that speech and I consider it an education as how to respect the transgendered. I just wow….that was really just wow.

I would have to agree. I’ve listened to it multiple times, and I feel like I’m no longer even hearing it, but rather, experiencing it.

She’s just taken my breath away.
