November is a huge month. Breaking Dawn comes out in 9 days, I’m speaking at Camp Mighty next week, Thanksgiving is coming up, something random I feel like I am forgetting happened yesterday… oh and books from authors I would positively devour should I find them covered in chocolate, dipped in batter, and fried will be released, and I was very, very lucky to get my hands on them.
For weeks you’ve been hearing me rave about Tiffany Reisz and her two novels, The Siren and The Angel. Both of them were brilliantly written and thoroughly addicting, and by the end of Angel, I was salivating to see where everything was going.
Then, The Prince happened, and everything changed in a wonderfully dramatic way. We see Nora with Wes in Kentucky, and Soren and Kingsley back at home, and I thought all that would make me happy, but it’s not that easy. History begins to seep out, and then I’m starting to have…I don’t know…emotions.
I think that happens with series like these. In the first book, everyone is shiny and new, but as things go on, life makes them darker, more raw, and you’re suddenly deeply invested in these twisted pieces of novel.
While The Prince was every bit as addicting as the first two books, I love it in an entirely separate way. First of all, it’s written completely different. Three realities happening at the same time, each chapter bringing a different timeline, like the Matrix but with more sodomy. And finally, all those moments that had me going WHAT THE FUCK in the first two books, suddenly begin make sense.
No spoilers, but by the end, my mouth was hanging open and I audibly screamed… which is weird because four seconds before it ended, I was swooning. The Prince comes out November 20th. You can pre-order it by clicking here (AND I CANNOT SUGGEST YOU BUY THIS ENOUGH).
And once you read it, let me know, I’m dying to chat about it!

“like the Matrix with more sodomy” and a little less technology and a lot better acting than Keanu.
I want to hump all over Tiffany for these books.
I. Can. Not. Wait.
Yes. LOVED the other two… can’t wait to read this one!!
Have you read “Seduction and Snacks” by Tara Sivec? HYSTERICAL!!
I have it in queue!!!!!
seriusly.. the Seduction and Snacks book was HILARIOUS. Aswesome book! There is a 2nd one also, its was just ok
You must read them now! They are soo funny and I loved them even more than The Redhead Series, which is saying A LOT!
I can’t possibly wait another two weeks. Can you share your copy with me sooner? Pretty please…
That’s it, I guess I’ll have to go get The Angel now that I’ve finished Gone Girl and am left with nothing to read. Just don’t tell my husband. The amount of money I’ve spent on kindle books since 50 shades came out is kind of ridiculous.
Also, I can’t wait to get your thoughts on Seductions and Snacks. Book #3 Troubles and Treats comes out November 30th and I can’t wait!!!
Is the third one available for pre-order? I can’t seem to find it!
I can’t find it either. I contacted Tara Sivec to ask. I’ll let you know what I find out :)
Thanks!!!
Tara Sivec says Amazon doesn’t think she’s cool enough to let people preorder yet :( I told her I beg to differ.
Lucky girl. How did you get it two weeks early?
Have you checked out the short stories on her sure? They help pass the time until The Prince comes out.
I refuse to read anymore smut until my husband’s vasectomy is completed. As a previously-infertile that got pregnant with #2 on the first try with no drugs or doctors involved, I’m not taking any chances.
Pre-ordered last night! Reading the short stories at her site to tide me over until then. Thanks for turning me on (ha, ha!) to these.
I am so happy to see you talking about The Original Sinners series on here. It is amazing! The short stories on her site are really good too. She also has a short ebook available called Submit To Desire. It’s about Kingsley from The Original Sinners series. (He’s my favorite.)
He is now my favorite also.
so jealous of your early copy. SO. JEALOUS.
Totally unrelated to The Prince…you’re speaking at Camp Mighty next week?! Epic fail on my part: I just cancelled my room reservation because I just couldn’t make it work. I follow Maggie on Mightygirl.com and have always thought, I would like to meet you both AND thought you’d be two people who should know each other. When you see her next week, please tell her my offer to help her achieve item 3 on her Mighty List to see a salmon run in Alaska still stands. Not only that but I can teach her to fly fish to actually catch one too. Then make it work that you come too!
O.M.G! That was sooo freaking good and i am not sure what to do with myself now!
I know, I actually read three books last week (God, what is wrong with me), and I’ll post about them on Tuesday.
Oh. My. God. WTF!!! Let’s talk. This book was awesome. But really, how long until the next one? I am not a patient person. I guess I could use a break. I have been ignoring my family for three straight days. Thanksgiving included. I hope she never stops writing these.
So apparently there are 8 total and she’s still writing the next one that comes out IN MARCH OMG. Have you read the short stories on her site? They help hold you over, but nowhere near as much. Sigh.
So The Prince. At first i hated the chapter flopping, like I got so invested only to have it all pulled out from underneath me in the next chapter. I appreciated it more toward the end, but it was maddening at first because I was too anxious to have answers.
Also, KINGSLEY!? SOREN!? All my feelings are upside down now.
I had heard that. I just wish I had come across this series when it was all finished. That way I could download this next one immediately. grrr.
I hated the chapter flipping too. I was tempted about halfway through to just read each of the stories chronologically and then circle back, but I figured she had a plan, so I stuck with it.
I love Kingsley and Soren together, but god that man is messed up. I love even more Nora and Wesley together, but the boy better step up his game or she will get bored quick you know? But, he’s so sweet and good for her! And who knew his dad wouldn’t turn out to be total d-bag? awesome. way to not go the obvious route. thank you!
can’t wait until March. At least we have Wallbanger on Tuesday right? Woo hoo!
PS – Went to church today (post forthcoming) and a woman got up and was saying how “thankful” she was that this year she was able to become the obedient wife God intends her to be and able to let her husband be the MAN of the household. After some pretty intense eye-rolling and my husband eye-pleading me not to snicker out loud, I thought better of standing up and saying, “Sweetie darling, my idea of submitting to my husband is waaay more fun.” How awesome would that have been? HA!
I just finished! And now I’m supposed to sleep?? All I can think is, why didn’t someone at least tell her to watch her back?! As you can tell, I have trouble separating real life and my fiction :).
My jaw hit the floor. What a cliffhanger! And I thought it was only a 3 part series (thank GOD it’s not) and kept saying “This can’t be the end!” Not so patiently twiddling my thumbs until book 4 comes out. I love/hate Soren about a million times over.
